Linux Platform Engineer

We are now looking for a Linux Platform Engineer who enjoys working close to the product across software development, infrastructure, and system integration.

You will work in a technically broad environment where Linux, networking, automation, containers, security, and software engineering come together.

This is the right role for someone who likes understanding the full system — not just one isolated part of it.

About the role

As a Linux Platform Engineer, you will work hands-on with Linux-based platforms and their integration into larger technical systems.

The role spans several engineering domains, from operating systems and networking to infrastructure automation, containerized environments, CI/CD, and software development.

You will operate in an environment where priorities can change quickly, making technical curiosity, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration important parts of the role.

What you’ll do

• Develop and evolve Linux-based platforms

• Work with software development and integration across larger systems

• Work with networking, routing, and firewalls

• Build and improve infrastructure automation

• Work with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes

• Develop and maintain automation and scripts across the platform

• Contribute to DevOps and CI/CD practices

• Work with security-critical software and platform environments

• Collaborate with engineers across different technical disciplines

What we’re looking for

You have a strong interest in Linux-based systems and enjoy working across the boundaries between software, infrastructure, and systems.

Relevant knowledge or experience includes:

• Linux OS

• Networking, routing, and firewalls

• Computer architecture

• Infrastructure automation

• Security-critical software

• Scripting with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Bourne shell

• Ansible

• Kubernetes and Docker

• DevOps and CI/CD

Knowledge or experience with Golang, C#, or C++ is also relevant.

You like solving problems across different layers of a platform and collaborating with people from different engineering disciplines.
