Cybersecurity Technical Project Manager

We are now looking for a Cybersecurity Technical Project Manager to take a leading role in the final stages of product cybersecurity work within a complex vehicle platform program.

Your focus will be clear: drive cybersecurity activities, dependencies, and documentation towards successful UNECE R155 Vehicle Type Approval.

This is the right role for someone who understands automotive cybersecurity and knows how to bring technical teams, stakeholders, risks, and regulatory requirements together towards a critical delivery.

About the role

As Cybersecurity Technical Project Manager, you will take ownership of cybersecurity-related Epics and coordinate activities across vehicle development.

You will work closely with Product Owners, Epic Owners, cybersecurity architects, system architects, governance functions, certification teams, and external partners to ensure that cybersecurity requirements are addressed and documented.

A key part of the role is creating structure and momentum in the later stages of the program — managing dependencies, identifying risks, driving mitigation activities, and ensuring that cybersecurity work progresses according to plan ahead of Vehicle Type Approval.

What you’ll do

• Drive cybersecurity activities towards compliance with UNECE R155

• Ensure relevant vehicle development activities are performed and documented

• Identify and assess cybersecurity compliance risks and drive mitigation strategies

• Own and coordinate cybersecurity-related Epics, dependencies, and delivery plans

• Develop both long-term and short-term cybersecurity plans

• Collaborate across Product Owners, architects, governance functions, certification teams, and external partners

• Support vehicle cybersecurity architects in completing the required cybersecurity case ahead of Vehicle Type Approval

• Track progress and ensure cybersecurity activities are executed according to agreed timelines

• Represent cybersecurity work in audits and technical discussions related to the Vehicle Type Approval process

What we’re looking for

You have a strong understanding of cybersecurity within complex product development and are comfortable taking technical leadership across multiple teams and stakeholders.

We believe you bring:

• Experience leading cybersecurity-related work in complex technical projects

• Strong technical leadership and coordination skills

• Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and dependencies

• Strong understanding of planning, risk management, and delivery

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to create structure and drive progress across several technical teams

Experience with automotive cybersecurity, Vehicle Type Approval, and cybersecurity certification processes is highly relevant to the role.

Nice to have

It is a plus if you have:

• Experience with UNECE R155

• Experience participating in vehicle cybersecurity type approval audits

• Experience with automotive cybersecurity certification processes

• Previous experience working within established automotive development processes
