ServiceNow Automation Engineer

We are now looking for a ServiceNow Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in building and improving automated workflows and processes within ServiceNow.

You will work in a complex enterprise environment where ServiceNow plays a central role in supporting and improving IT processes.

About the role

As a ServiceNow Automation Engineer, you will work hands-on with developing, configuring, and maintaining functionality within the ServiceNow platform.

A key part of the role is to build and improve automated workflows connected to ITSM and surrounding IT processes. You will work across requirements, configuration, integrations, scripting, and technical dependencies while collaborating with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

The focus is not only on keeping things running — but on continuously identifying where processes can be simplified, automated, and improved.

What you’ll do

• Develop, configure, and maintain functionality within ServiceNow

• Build and improve automated flows, workflows, and process automation

• Work with automation connected to ITSM and surrounding IT processes

• Identify improvement opportunities and turn them into practical automation solutions

• Work with integrations, business rules, scripts, and technical dependencies

• Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and platform management

• Document solutions, technical dependencies, and ways of working

• Improve the efficiency, quality, and stability of the ServiceNow platform

What we’re looking for

You have a strong technical background in ServiceNow and practical experience building automation and workflows within the platform.

We believe you bring:

• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow

• Practical experience with automation, workflows, and process flows in ServiceNow

• Good technical understanding of ITSM processes

• Experience translating requirements into configuration and technical solutions

• Experience working with technical documentation

• Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English

Nice to have

It is a plus if you have experience with:

• ServiceNow Flow Designer or Workflow Editor

• IntegrationHub

• Microsoft Power Automate or Power Platform

• APIs, REST, and system integrations

• Scripting with JavaScript

• ServiceNow certifications

• Working in larger enterprise environments

An interest in developing your skills within Microsoft Power Automate is also highly valued.
