We’re looking for an experienced autonomous systems engineer with research-level understanding - someone who is equally comfortable reasoning from first principles and turning that knowledge into production systems running under real-time, physical and safety constraints.

The role is based in the USA and requires relocation.

What you’ll do

– Design and evolve perception, estimation and decision-making systems
– Work with multi-sensor fusion (camera / radar / LiDAR) under uncertainty
– Develop ML models deployed in real-time, safety-critical environments
– Own behavior planning, localization and calibration at a system level
– Reason about failure modes, uncertainty, latency and robustness
– Collaborate closely across software, hardware, simulation and validation

What you bring

– Research-level understanding of autonomy, ADAS, robotics, control or applied ML
– Ability to read, critique and extend academic work — and ship beyond it
– Experience working with systems where incorrect behavior has physical consequences
– Strong grounding in probability, estimation, optimization and system trade-offs
– Comfort acting as technical authority in ambiguous, high-stakes problem spaces
– Willingness to relocate to the USA
